This course will be held over the course of six weekends (including one final 3-day weekend). This course consists of the traditional 72-hour PDC course + approx 40 additional hours = well over 120 contact hours (+ homework and self-directed study) to ensure we cover hands-on activities, regional examples and timely developments. You will participate in this course through a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, guest speakers, field trips, homework, video, discussion and a group student design project. There will be pre-work (short readings and some video) before the course and 2-3 hours of "homework" between course weekends. Students must attend all sessions and complete the group design project on the final weekend in order to receive their certificates of completion. Topics Include (but not limited to...)
