This course will be held over the course of six weekends (including one final 3-day weekend).
This course consists of the traditional 72-hour PDC course + approx 40 additional hours = well over 120 contact hours (+ homework and self-directed study) to ensure we cover hands-on activities, regional examples and timely developments. You will participate in this course through a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, guest speakers, field trips, homework, video, discussion and a group student design project. There will be pre-work (short readings and some video) before the course and 2-3 hours of "homework" between course weekends. Students must attend all sessions and complete the group design project on the final weekend in order to receive their certificates of completion.
